Sub: Admission of Pharmacy Diploma holders directly to Second year of B.Pharm

14-11/75-PCI-13033-110 dt. 19.12.2001.

Sir/Madam,
In continuation to Council's letter dt. 19.6.2001 & 19.12.2001, I am directed to inform that the Central Council in its meeting held in Sept. 2004 has decided–
|
- To approve 10% seats in B.Pharm second year over and above the sanctioned intake of first year B.Pharm for persons holding D.Pharm qualification from an institution approved u/s 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 irrespective of the fact as to whether the candidate has passed out D.Pharm under Education Regulations, 1991 or repealed Education Regulations 1953, 1972 and 1981.

- Such D.Pharm holders admitted directly to B.Pharm second year shall pass those subjects of B.Pharm first year which are not covered under D.Pharm
